Collections are Stencil's version of "Folders". They're a great way to keep your account tidy and can be used to organize:
- Saved Images
Collections can always be fully sorted or renamed for additional flexibility once the collection has already been created.
Storing and organizing elements in Stencil is a breeze with Collections. You can select multiple elements from any section of Stencil and add them all at once to any of your collections. In each section of Stencil you can create custom collections. These are especially handy for:
Keeping photos & icons in separate collections for different clients
- Storing elements in similar groups for upcoming events
Keeping promotional items in the same collection for easy access in the future
Generally keeping your Stencil account more organized and having quick access to elements without having to search.

Add Multiple Items to a Collection
In many cases, you'll want to add many items to a collection at once. With keyboard shortcuts in Stencil, this is amazingly easy and there's a few ways to do it.
Adding sequential items
SHIFT key and select the first item.
While still holding
SHIFT, select the last item in the group of items you want to add to a collection.
Right-click any of the items and hover "Collections" to reveal any of your existing collections you want to add these items to. If you don't have any collections created yet, you can create one and add the selected items to that new collection at the same time.
Adding non-sequential items
CMD key on Mac or the
CTRL key on Windows
